Now that you know what’s coming up, are you ready to finally become a super affiliate? Let’s get right down to it.
What is a super affiliate?
Before I jump right into my tips, I want to set some time aside to go over what a super affiliate actually is. If you thought that I was just talking about becoming a super affiliate marketer, while that may be part of it, becoming a super affiliate is an actual title. So let’s take a look at how this happens.
You’re the best of the best
A super affiliate is someone who generates a large percentage of a company’s affiliate sales. It’s a simple concept, but one that’s effective. This is due to the fact that super affiliates make the most money, have the most royalties, and have the most leverage with merchants.
A super affiliate is an affiliate marketer that has truly reached the pinnacle of affiliate success. Pretty cool, right? So that’s what I’m here to show you today.
One of the most successful super affiliates is Robby Blanchard, he was recently names the #1 Affiliate in all of ClickBank. Check out our review of his commission hero course.
Let’s continue.
Learning
I know you’ve been in school for a while already, and that class sounds boring, but I bet making money sounds fun. So when I say that you have to learn to become a super affiliate, I really mean that. So let’s have a look at what I mean by this.
Look for a mentor
The first thing you should do is find a mentor. A solid mentor can help you jumpstart your journey, and in doing so jumpstart your income. A good mentor is someone who has found a lot of success in affiliate marketing, and if you find a super affiliate mentor that’s an added bonus.
If you’re having trouble finding a good mentor, my piece of advice is to consider joining a networking or mastermind group.
Learn online
The good news about becoming a super affiliate is that there are no formal education requirements. This means that you can teach yourself, and learn what you want, but my advice is to learn everything you can.
You can give an affiliate marketing course a shot, but if you don’t have the funds, you can always search for quality:
- E-books
- Regular books
- YouTube videos
- Webinars
- DVDs
- Blogs
Now, while there is a lot of information out there already, you should definitely focus on following some of the affiliate marketers that you want to emulate.
Set realistic goals
This is going to sound obvious, but please let me explain. Goal setting seems simple, but for this post I’m going to focus on short-term goals as opposed to long-term goals; you’ll see why in a moment.
Why short-term goal?
I know that having a vision is important, and I’m not saying that you should ditch yours, but you need to focus on tomorrow and the next day. This is due to the fact that achieving short-term victories will feel more rewarding than striking out against your long-term goal.
You want to win more than you lose, and to be blunt, if this isn’t the case you can burnout.
Start small; work your way up
Having big dreams and big goals is fine, but when push comes to shove, you might feel defeated if you don’t reach it. Therefore, my advice to you here is simple: set a small financial goal before a big one.
Instead of trying to make $100,000 in a year, break that goal down a bit. If I were you, I would set a goal to make $1,000 per week first. Once you hit that goal, you’ll feel good, and have the motivation to crush the next step of your 6-figure goal.
Be creative
The thing that matters the most is creativity. Affiliate marketing has been popular for a long time, which means that becoming a super affiliate is going to be a bit more challenging. So in this section, I’ll break down some ideas to deal with market saturation.
Start with your niche
The first thing you’ll need to start with is your niche. Not all niches are profitable, which means that you’ll need to set your sights on one that is. Now, on top of that, you’ll also need to get creative in your niche.
There are probably thousands of blogs and websites within each niche, so make sure that you set yours apart from the rest. This applies to social media marketing as well.
Get creative with SEO
SEO is crucial if you want to become a super affiliate. With so many people trying to rank on Google, it can seem like a rat race if you want to reach the first page.
So how do you do it?
Get creative with your choice of keywords, and try to rank for things that your competition isn’t. This will take some research, but trust me on this one, it will really help your marketing stand apart from the rest.
SEO is very important, and while a lot of people downplay it these days, it’s still very valuable.
Final thoughts
I know that you’re probably eager to try some of these tips about, but please hang in there for another moment. I have a few more things I want to say, and they’re just as important as the tips I’ve shown you. If you want to become a super affiliate, you’re almost there.
